Ozark had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against Willard. For Ozark, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win Willard walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Hudson Roberts was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Roberts was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Gannon Miller was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Ozark's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 5.75 runs across that stretch. As for Willard, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Coming up, Ozark will take on Parkview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Willard has already played their next matchup (against Rolla), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
