Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shawnee). They never let the McLoud Redskins get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Shawnee's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 36th, while McLoud are ranked 126th).

Shawnee has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for McLoud, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Shawnee has already played their next game (against McAlester), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for McLoud, they will be playing in front of their home fans against ASTEC Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. McLoud's defense better be ready for this one: ASTEC Charter have averaged an impressive 4 goals per game this season.
