Newton Local put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tri-Village Patriots a 15-0 shutout. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Newton Local pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tri-Village, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Newton Local will venture away from home to take on Mississinawa Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Indians are facing the Blackhawks at the right time seeing as the Blackhawks are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Tri-Village, they will host Trotwood-Madison at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
