Basketball Recap: Gorman Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Gorman challenged Lingleville on Tuesday. The Gorman Panthers were dealt a 54-27 defeat at the hands of the Lingleville Cardinals. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

It was another big night for Issac Martinez, who posted 24 points and five assists for Lingleville. Another player making a difference was Garrett Hurt, who scored nine points.

Gorman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Lingleville, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Three Way the next time they take the court. Lingleville will host Three Way at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Gorman will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
