Baseball Recap: St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Has No Trouble Against Solvay

St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Solvay Bearcats 9-0. The Marauders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Carson Mazur looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Giorgio Panepinto was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Everett Elia, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

The victory got St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute back to even at 2-2. As for Solvay, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
