Basketball Recap: Neoga Comes Up Short

Neoga and Casey-Westfield squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Neoga had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Casey-Westfield Warriors and fell 60-29. The Indians have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Hayden Parcel, who shot 70% from the field on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds for Casey-Westfield. Parcel's big performance that morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Luke Karras was another key player, putting up three points and 17 boards.

Neoga's loss dropped their record down to 8-25. As for Casey-Westfield, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-7.

Neoga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Casey-Westfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-54 defeat against Tuscola on the 28th.
