Pioneer entered their tilt with South Central on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Satellites with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Satellites, too.

Pioneer was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-18.

Laylah Demond paced Pioneer's offense, picking up 11 kills. Demond got some help from Lois Layer and her 17 assists. Madyson Shaffer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pioneer's record now sits at 17-12. As for South Central, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-11.

Pioneer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Benton Central on the 7th. As for South Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against New Prairie on the 8th.
