Volleyball Recap: Hilton Takes a Loss

Hilton lost against Webster Schroeder back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cadets lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Webster Schroeder's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lauryn Watson, who had five aces and four digs. Those five aces gave Watson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Siphakongviseth, who had nine digs and four assists.

Hilton's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Webster Schroeder, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-3-1.

Coincidentally, Hilton and Webster Schroeder will both be playing Victor the next time they take the court. The Cadets will head out to face the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Warriors will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
