The contest between them and the Sonora Wildcats didn't end well, with the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors falling 52-34. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy lost on Saturday, don't look at Jaylen Stokes. Despite the final result, he picked up 223 receiving yards and one touchdown. The dominant performance gave Stokes a new career-high in receiving yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was Kenny Peevy, who picked up 114 receiving yards and one touchdown.
