Softball Recap: Pocono Mountain East Takes a Loss

Pocono Mountain East came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-9 to the Stroudsburg Mountaineers. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Mountaineers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pocono Mountain East's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Stroudsburg, their record is now 2-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pocono Mountain East is set to square off against their familiar foe Freedom at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Stroudsburg will take on rival Easton Area at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
