Softball Recap: Lamar Silver Foxes vs. Great Falls Red Devils
Lamar won the last time they faced Great Falls and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Silver Foxes blew past the Red Devils 17-1. Considering the Silver Foxes have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Abby McManus made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Taylor Guinn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kynley Fishel, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Lamar always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .720. They are 3-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Lamar's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8.
