Vance County barely beat Southern School of Energy and Sustainability the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vipers were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Spartans on Friday. The Vipers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Vance County's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vance County will head out to square off against Durham School of the Arts at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vipers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, they will venture away from home to challenge J.F. Webb at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
