Volleyball Game Preview: Moapa Valley Pirates vs. Truckee Wolverines + How To Watch

Moapa Valley hasn't had much luck against Truckee recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m.

Moapa Valley heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Saturday. They fell just short of The Meadows School by a score of 3-2.

Moapa Valley might have lost, but man, Chloe Dalley was a machine: she had 20 digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Dalley is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

Meanwhile, Truckee came tearing into Saturday's matchup with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dust Devils.

Moapa Valley better keep an eye on Averi Costa. She was instrumental in Truckee's win, getting ten digs. Costa is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Moapa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-21. As for Truckee, their win bumped their record up to 26-6.

Moapa Valley might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Truckee in their previous meeting back in November of 2019. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
