Football Game Preview: Willamette Wolverines vs. West Salem Titans + How To Watch

The Willamette Wolverines will venture away from home to face off against the West Salem Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated after four games, but that won't be the case come Friday.

Willamette will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Sheldon, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Wolverines blew past the Irish 29-7 on Friday. Considering the Wolverines have won three matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Zuzi Alwineyan produced another solid performance rushing for 133 yards and two touchdowns.

Another reason for the win was Willamette's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Tony Cumberland and Tripp Johansen, who racked up six sacks between them. Cumberland is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, West Salem hadn't done well against North Medford recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Titans walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Black Tornado.

Willamette's record is now 4-0. As for West Salem, their record now sits at an identical 4-0.
