Jackson North Side gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Covington Chargers as the Jackson North Side Indians made off with a 5-2 victory. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

This is the second loss in a row for Covington and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Jackson North Side will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Hardin County at 6:00 p.m. As for Covington, they are taking a road trip to square off against Gibson County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
