Recap: Johnson Crusaders vs. Dayton Bulldogs
The Johnson Crusaders can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They managed a 54-50 win over Dayton. For Johnson, this counts as revenge for the 54-50 defeat Dayton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Despite the loss, Dayton still got an impressive performance from Luke Sherman, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Preston Benjamin, who scored six points.
The win got Johnson back to even at 1-1. As for Dayton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Johnson will head out on the road to face off against New Providence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dayton will be home for the holidays to greet Roselle Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
