Softball Game Preview: Lake Worth Trojans vs. Glades Day Gators

The Lake Worth Trojans will challenge the Glades Day Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lake Worth is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Glades Central 22-4 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, Glades Day got themselves on the board against Royal Palm Beach on Thursday, but Royal Palm Beach never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Gators have won five matches by more than 12 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Reilly Baltazar was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Juliet Alegria, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Glades Day's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Worth, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
