Basketball Recap: Jerome Skates Past Minico with Ease

Jerome had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Minico Spartans, posting a 56-22 victory. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Spartans are ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jerome pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Minico, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Mountain Home will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Jerome surely won't give up without a fight. As for Minico, they will welcome Twin Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Minico is facing Twin Falls at the right time seeing as Twin Falls is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
