Softball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Santa Fe's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Sweet Springs Greyhounds on Wednesday. The Chiefs just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Sweet Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Santa Fe will face off against Midway at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sweet Springs, they will take on Kingsville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.45 runs per game on average), something the Greyhounds will no doubt try to take advantage of.
