Basketball Game Preview: Panther Creek Catamounts vs. Green Hope Falcons

Panther Creek has gone 10-0 against Green Hope recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panther Creek Catamounts will welcome the Green Hope Falcons at 8:00 p.m. Panther Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.1 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Panther Creek beat Apex 57-46. Given the Catamounts' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Cougars are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Panther Creek found their leader in freshman Andre Richardson, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 20 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Richardson has scored all season. Camden Hill was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Panther Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Apex only pulled down three offensive rebounds.

Meanwhile, Green Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 66-51 to Cary.

Green Hope's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Panther Creek, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Panther Creek took their victory against Green Hope in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 64-43. Will Panther Creek repeat their success, or does Green Hope have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
