There's no place like home for Rock Port, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Union Star Trojans on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rock Port was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-9.

Tatum Vogler was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 11 matchups.

Vogler wasn't the only good servers: Rock Port was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matches.

Rock Port pushed their record up to 19-5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Union Star, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rock Port will take on West Platte at 12:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Union Star, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maysville at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
