Football Recap: Duquoin Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

DuQuoin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 48-19 victory over the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

Despite the loss, Mt. Carmel still got an impressive performance from Shain Meador, who picked up 121 receiving yards and two TDs.

Coming up, DuQuoin is taking a road trip to take on Harrisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Carmel, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Effingham at 7:00 p.m.
