Football Recap: Eastern View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

There was early excitement for Eastern View after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was James Monroe who ended up claiming the real prize. The Cyclones took a 19-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets. While the Cyclones had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Yellow Jackets 7-0.

Eastern View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for James Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Eastern View and James Monroe will both be playing Caroline the next time they take the field. The Yellow Jackets will head out to face the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cyclones will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
