Chatham waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Sparta Spartans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Chatham's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while Sparta are ranked 174th).

Chatham's victory bumped their record up to 10-3-2. As for Sparta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Coming up, Chatham will face off against Randolph at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Randolph's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sparta, they will square off against West Morris Mendham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
