Recap: Faith Christian Academy Angels vs. Bible Baptist Christian Wolves

The Faith Christian Academy Angels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Bible Baptist Christian 90-41. While losing is never fun, Faith Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 689th in Florida, while Bible Baptist Christian is ranked 234th in Georgia).

Leading Bible Baptist Christian to victory were Samuel Rahming and Justin Coleman. Rahming scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Coleman scored 17 points along with eight assists and six steals. Coleman continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alano Doreste, who scored 14 points along with two steals.

Faith Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Faith Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Brunswick Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. Bible Baptist Christian on the road again on Monday and play against Southeast Bulloch at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
