It was a good run, but Portland unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 8-3 to the Gallatin Green Wave. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Green Wave earlier this season, when they won 17-4.

Portland's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Gallatin, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.

Coming up, Portland will challenge Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gallatin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
