Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerville). They put the hurt on the North Zulch Bulldogs with a sharp 25-6 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Yeguas, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Somerville got a massive performance out of Audrey Schoenburg, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave Schoenburg a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Averie Hernandez, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Somerville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .881. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Somerville's record now sits at 11-13. As for North Zulch, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

As of now, neither Somerville nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
