It was a good run, but Saluda unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the White Knoll Timberwolves who were credited with the victory. The White Knoll Timberwolves got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Saluda Tigers' one. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Saluda couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Herver Roman Lopez Orozco, who's now up to 23 this season.

Saluda's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for White Knoll, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14.

Saluda wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Chesnee on the 4th. As for White Knoll, they will face off against St. James at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
