Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Bishop McDevitt couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Roman Catholic Cahillite on Friday, falling 28-6. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Sebastian Williams threw for 140 yards and one touchdown. Jontai Quick was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards. On the ground, Nazir Jones-Davis rushed for 106 yards.

It was another big night for Semaj Beals, who threw for 247 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 43 yards and one score for Roman Catholic. Beals has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. A healthy portion of Beals' aerial production (95 yards to be exact) went to Ash Roberts, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Bishop McDevitt's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Roman Catholic, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

As of now, neither Bishop McDevitt nor the Cahillite have any future games scheduled.
