Softball Recap: Mosinee Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Mosinee had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Marshfield Tigers 7-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Mosinee's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Marshfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mosinee will take on Rhinelander at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshfield, they will challenge D.C. Everest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Evergreens will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
