Volleyball Recap: Gladwin Takes a Loss

Gladwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bay City Western Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

Bay City Western can attribute much of their success to Mia Janicke, who had eight digs and two assists.

Gladwin's loss dropped their record down to 5-15-1. As for Bay City Western, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 16-14-4.

Gladwin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Clare on the 8th. As for Bay City Western, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Heritage on the 7th.
