Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Union Broncos vs. Desert Scorpions

The Bishop Union Broncos will venture away from home to face off against the Desert Scorpions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Union is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bishop Union beat Rosamond 61-57.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Desert, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They snuck past Kern Valley with a 62-57 victory on Friday.

Desert is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Bishop Union, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

Bishop Union beat Desert 71-58 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bishop Union since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
