Fillmore had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Friendship Golden Eagles 52-25. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 802nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fillmore pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Friendship, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fillmore will head out to face off against Rochester Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Friendship, they will venture away from home to square off against Houghton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
