Basketball Recap: Bald Eagle Area Comes Up Short

Bald Eagle Area lost against Chestnut Ridge back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bald Eagle Area Eagles were beaten by the Chestnut Ridge Lions 76-43. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 33 points.

Bald Eagle Area dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Chestnut Ridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Bald Eagle Area Eagles take on the Tyrone Golden Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Tyrone knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Bald Eagle Area likes a good challenge. As for Chestnut Ridge, they will venture away from home to face off against Bedford at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th.
