Orcas Island lost to Sound Christian back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Orcas Island Vikings enjoyed a cozy 49-33 win over the Sound Christian Lions.

Sound Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Abby Mesler, who posted 16 points, and Bella Swazer, who put up eight points and five rebounds. That was a full 48.5% of Sound Christian's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.
