It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Taylor can now relate to. They came up short against the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Yellowjackets' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Sam Henline and Hudson Mercer, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Jaxson Snell and his 13 assists.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Archbishop McNicholas, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

Taylor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they will square off against Loveland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
