Soccer Recap: Liberty-Benton Starts Season with Victory Against Ottawa Hills

Liberty-Benton took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ottawa Hills Green Bears. That's more bragging rights for Liberty-Benton, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kylie Modd and Ally Ferris scored all three of Liberty-Benton's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty-Benton is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Bath at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ottawa Hills, they will head out to face off against Liberty Center at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
