Basketball Recap: Lake Forest Triumphs

Lake Forest lost to Niles West back in January of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Scouts walked away with a 51-43 victory over the Wolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Scouts.

The win got Lake Forest back to even at 2-2. As for Niles West, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Lake Forest will face off against Libertyville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give the Scouts their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Niles West, they will welcome Mundelein at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolves will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
