Soccer Recap: Manson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Bridgeport on Thursday, Manson came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Cashmere Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Manson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Cashmere are ranked 37th).

Manson's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Cashmere, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1-1.

Coming up, Manson is taking a road trip to take on Omak at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cashmere, they will welcome Kiona-Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cashmere will be up against Kiona-Benton's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.13 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
