While Tranquillity's victory against Mendota wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Aztecs 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Tranquillity had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 22-25, 25-15, 25-13, 15-8.

Tranquillity's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Mendota, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
