Ocean Springs entered their tilt with Northwest Rankin on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Greyhounds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ocean Springs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Baylor Edmiston, who had 12 assists and four aces. That's the most aces Edmiston has posted since back in August of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lucy Pepper, who had ten assists and two aces.

Ocean Springs' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Northwest Rankin, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Ocean Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Brandon on the 2nd. As for Northwest Rankin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Germantown on the 2nd.
