Big Pine suffers tenth straight loss on the road

Recap: Big Pine Warriors vs. Non Varsity Opponent
After flying high against the Owens Valley Cubs last Monday, the Big Pine Warriors came back down to earth. Big Pine took a 45-30 bruising from Non Varsity Opponent on Wednesday. Big Pine was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Non Varsity Opponent apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Despite the defeat, Big Pine saw an underclassman step up: Noah Ericson scored 14 points.
Big Pine dropped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 107-204-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Pine will square off against Lee Vining at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to square off against Thorp at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
