Softball Recap: North Pitt Comes Up Short

After soaring to 22 runs the game before, North Pitt was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 11-1 to the Nash Central Bulldogs. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 20-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Pitt's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Nash Central, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as North Pitt Panthers take on SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nash Central, they will take on Fike at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
