Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Takes a Loss

St. Mary's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 79-20 loss at the hands of the Oregon City Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Blues can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Pioneers are ranked 65th).

St. Mary's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Oregon City, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Academy will challenge Lakeridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oregon City, they will face off against Lake Oswego at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
