Volleyball Recap: Monday's Defeat Ends Currituck County's Winning Streak

Currituck County lost against Perquimans on September 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since September 8th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-13.

Morgan Cheesbrough paced Currituck County's offense, picking up eight kills. Cheesbrough got some help from Melody Hill and her 16 assists.
