Volleyball Recap: Indio's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Indio waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Arroyo Valley Hawks.

Indio was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-19.

Indio's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anitzi Zarco, who had 20 digs and three aces. Zarco has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Despite the loss, Arroyo Valley still got an impressive performance from Monserrat Arredondo, who had 17 assists and three aces.

Indio's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Arroyo Valley, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Indio didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against La Quinta on the 25th. As for Arroyo Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against San Bernardino on the 26th.
