Hoover's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Fresno Warriors as they made off with a 37-12 win. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Hoover was led to victory by Cam Mobley and Paul Escoto. Mobley threw for 189 yards and four touchdowns, while Escoto rushed for 114 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hoover was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

The win got Hoover back to even at 3-3. As for Fresno, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Hoover will face off against Sunnyside at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Mobley and Johnathan Diaz. As for Fresno, they will welcome Madera South at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th. The Warriors will be up against the Stallions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
