Jaime Jimenez gave up the fewest earned runs she has since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Jimenez's strong effort led Heights over West and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers are limping into the matchup having lost 12 straight on the road dating back to last season.
