Baseball Recap: Hinsdale South Takes a Loss

Hinsdale South suffered their closest loss since March 21st on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs by a score of 4-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on Monday.

This is the second loss in a row for Hinsdale South and nudges their season record down to 10-17-1. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-21.

While Hinsdale South had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
