Seneca has gone a perfect 5-0 against Pickens recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will take on the Blue Flame at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Seneca's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
On Friday, Seneca blew past Greer, posting a 42-13 victory. Considering the Bobcats have won eight contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Amari Verner had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 341 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per carry. Those five rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gavin Thoma, who threw for 110 yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Seneca was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 402 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 165 rushing yards in three consecutive games.
Another reason for the win was Seneca's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jermaine Miller, Jamarion Hunter, and Caleb Chiles, who each picked up one sack apiece. Miller was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles.
Meanwhile, Pickens played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 52-7 loss at the hands of Daniel. The Blue Flame haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Seneca will have to contain David Bolden as he made an impact in Pickens' last game. He rushed for 81 yards and one score.
Seneca's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.6 points on average over those games. As for Pickens, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Seneca has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 237.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Pickens struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 209.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Seneca against Pickens when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 47-7 win. In that matchup, the Bobcats amassed a halftime lead of 34-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
